Remove the car radio on the Clio

Model: Renault Clio MK 2, Clio 2 - Years 1998-2005
Part: Car stereo

Disassemble the car radio of a Renault Clio. Let's see how a new one is removed and mounted inside the dashboard. Insert the disassembly keys into the holes on the sides of the car radio, release the fixing clips and pull the car radio towards us. We remove the car radio from inside the dashboard and disconnect the terminals (of the power supply and of the antenna). To carry out the assembly, we proceed in reverse the disassembly operations. Then we connect the electrical terminals, insert the car radio in the dashboard and block it. We carry out an ignition test at the end of the assembly (we turn on the instrument panel and then the radio).

Pull the engine hood release lever located on the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front hood, securing it. Remove the soundproofing panel that covers the engine. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the glow plug, pull it out of the cylinder head (perform the same operation on the other glow plugs). Take the new glow plug and insert it into the cylinder head using the socket wrench. Finally, reinstall the plastic cylinder head cover panel.
