How do you change the car battery? Let's look at removing the battery located in the engine bay of the Scenic. Lift the front bonnet, releasing the catch with your fingers, and secure it. Once the engine bay is open, you will find the battery under the cover; unscrew the battery terminal securing bolts after removing the cover, then take the battery out of the engine bay. After removing the old battery, replace it with a new one (same voltage and size as the original). Close the engine bonnet after installation.
