Replacing Battery on Renault Megane 3

Model: Renault Megane Megane III, Megane 3 - Years 2008-2015

Open the bonnet and place the support rod. The battery is located on your right when looking at the engine bay. Never start by disconnecting the positive terminal as the entire car is still connected to the negative. Remove the battery cover using the two side tabs. Unscrew the 10mm nut from the negative terminal, then unscrew the positive. Next, unscrew the two front fixing nuts and remove the bracket. At this point, pull out the battery and sand the inside of the terminals to remove any oxidation. Now insert the new battery and reassemble everything in reverse order.
