This guide explains how to replace the remote key battery of the Clio III. You will need a new button battery, the model of which is listed in the user and maintenance manual; usually, a CR 2032 battery is used, available from any retailer for a few pounds. Take a Phillips screwdriver and unscrew the screw located on the handle of the key. Carefully pry open the shell using a flat screwdriver along the edge to separate the two halves. Using the flat screwdriver, remove the old battery and replace it with the new one, ensuring correct polarity. Reassemble the two parts of the key and tighten the screw. That's it, you can now test the key.
