How to Perform a Service on a Renault Clio

To carry out a DIY service, purchase the parts: oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter, and oil. Start with the air filter: open the bonnet, and at the top, there are two clips that allow you to remove the old filter and replace it with the new one. For the cabin filter, open the passenger side door and look down as it is located at footwell height; simply unscrew a small hex screw, then replace the old filter with the new one (always follow the arrows for correct positioning). To change the oil, first lift the vehicle with a hydraulic jack and place safety stands, or use a lift, unscrew the plug, let all the oil drain into a container for used oil, replace the plug, and change the oil filter.

How to Bleed the Clutch on a Renault Clio?

To bleed the clutch on a Renault Clio, open the bonnet to access the components located in the engine bay: here, you will need to undo the screws that secure the battery in its housing, the intake manifold, and the coolant reservoir. This will allow you to locate the pipe through which the brake fluid flows: by inserting the other end of the pipe into a container, you can press the clutch pedal to expel all the fluid until it fills the container.
