How to Remove the Steering Wheel Airbag from a Renault Symbol?

To remove the steering wheel airbag from a Renault Symbol, insert a screwdriver into the holes located at the back of the steering wheel: to reach these holes, you will need to turn the steering wheel first to the right and then to the left. By inserting the screwdriver into these holes, you can release the internal retaining pins that secure the airbag in its housing in the steering wheel. Once removed, disconnect the connectors at the back of the airbag so that it can be replaced: the new airbag can now be connected to the connectors and inserted back into the steering wheel.
