Replacement of Engine Air Filter

Model: Renault Megane Megane 1 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Air filter

The engine air filter container (AIRBOX) is located at the front right of the engine bay (when facing the front), just in front of the coolant reservoir; unscrew the four fixing screws of the cover to extract the old filter, ensuring there are no dirt residues inside the box and removing them if necessary, taking care not to let anything fall into the intake duct (use a vacuum cleaner); then insert the new filter, centring it correctly, and apply the cover by tightening the relevant fixing screws.
