Replacing the Battery on the Renault Megane

When the battery on the Renault Megane discharges and fails to hold a charge, you need to replace it. Open the bonnet, and you will find the battery on the driver's side. Using a 13mm socket with an extension, unscrew the mounting bracket and remove it. Using a 10mm socket, unscrew the negative terminal, then unscrew the positive terminal cables and loosen the entire terminal.

You can now remove the old battery, clean the terminals with sandpaper, apply a thin layer of copper grease on the terminals of the new battery, and insert it into its housing. Reattach the positive terminal and the secondary cable, then connect the negative terminal, and refit the mounting bracket, using absorbent paper if necessary to hold the nut.

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space.
