Installation of PKG-2000P Monitor Accessory Kit

The installation kit includes a plastic frame, a metal bracket, a drilling template, wiring cable, and necessary accessories. The required tools are: a pencil, a utility knife, a crimping tool, pliers, a drill, a punch, a rivet gun, and a screwdriver. Place the template under the ceiling light and secure it with masking tape. Use the utility knife to make a hole in the ceiling following the measurements of the template. Insert the bracket into the hole and mark the positions for the holes to be drilled with the pencil. Use the punch to mark the drilling points. Attach a stop to the drill bit to prevent it from penetrating more than one centimetre and drill the four required holes. Using the rivet gun and 4 rivets, secure the bracket to the roof. Remove the front ceiling light and disconnect it. Remove the courtesy mirror. Remove the driver's door seal and the pillar cover using a plastic tool to avoid damaging the bodywork. Remove the passenger side dashboard cover and open the service switch compartment and fuse box. Unscrew the two screws from the cover plate. Disconnect the switch connectors and remove them. Remove the screws from the cover. Using a nylon electrician's spring, thread it under the bracket, retrieve it in the ceiling light compartment, and then in the door pillar. Secure the wiring to the spring and pull it to the fuse box. Crimp the cable with the connectors to the newly installed wiring. Secure the cable well and connect it according to the instructions to the fixed 12V fuse and the switched 12V fuse, stripping the respective wires and soldering to the existing wiring, insulating the joints with tape (it is advisable to use appropriate insulated connectors). Strip the negative wire and crimp a terminal, securing the terminal to the bolt connected to the chassis. Connect the blue wire to the ground of the courtesy light switch.
Reassemble everything and install the ceiling lights. Screw the monitor to the frame, connect the connector, and secure it with the four screws to the bracket. Check for proper operation.
