Resetting the Service Light on the Renault Megane

Model: Renault Megane Megane III, Megane 3 - Years 2008-2015

After changing the engine oil on the Renault Megane, you need to reset the message that alerts you of the required service. Sit in the driver's seat and press the "start" button to turn on the instrument cluster. By pressing the button at the top of the wiper control stalk, located to the right of the steering wheel, scroll through the menu until the display in the centre of the instrument cluster shows "service due". Press the button again until the message "press start + brake" appears. Perform the action, and after a few seconds, you will receive confirmation of the reset.
