In this video, see how to bypass a non-functioning magnetic key with a simple kitchen tool. There is nothing more irritating than the "key not recognised" message when driving a Renault, due to the card-shaped magnetic keys that wear out literally in a rather short time. Indeed, on the upper right side, there is a coil that, when the card inevitably bends, interrupts the circuit and stops working. Naturally, the key needs to be replaced, but in an emergency, you can insert the magnetic key, and on the side with the buttons, insert the blade of a knife, and immediately the message will appear asking you to press the brake button to start. You can press the start button, and the vehicle will start. If you remove the knife, the vehicle will not start anymore; the key is not recognised!
