How to Replace the Brake Pads on the Renault Megane 3

Start the replacement of the brake pads on the Renault Megane 3 by opening the front bonnet and then the brake fluid cap. Next, remove the rear wheel and lift the vehicle with a jack and axle stands to gain access to the pads. Continue the replacement by loosening the brake caliper with a 13mm socket and removing the caliper bolts with a 15mm spanner; use a screwdriver to lever the caliper and then remove the pads. Clean the end of the support with a wire brush. Lubricate the new pads with grease and push the piston in to fit the new pads. Insert them into the caliper, refit the caliper, and tighten the caliper bolts. Refit the wheel and lower the vehicle. Pour in new brake fluid and close the bonnet.
