This video shows where the EGR valve is located on the Renault Megane 1.9 dTi, useful if you need to remove it for replacement. As shown, the valve is positioned on the left side of the engine, to your right when facing the vehicle.

To remove it, first ensure the engine is cool enough, then disconnect the front power connector and unscrew the mounting bolts using a socket spanner. At this point, separate the valve from the bracket, position the replacement part, and follow the reverse procedure.
