How to replace the EGR valve on a Renault Megane II diesel

Let's see how to replace the EGR valve on this Renault Megane II diesel: open the hood and remove the engine cover. The EGR valve is a cylindrical metal component connected to the intake manifold, with an electrical connector. Disconnect the connector with a flat screwdriver, unscrew the three fixing screws (one of which is a bit difficult) and remove the valve. Clean the intake duct; remove the engine cover support and unscrew the nuts that secure the duct to the EGR valve and the engine, manually remove the larger carbon deposits, then use a specific cleaner and gentle brushes. Do not use aggressive solvents, which could cause serious damage. We can find the new valve complete with gasket, for example on AliExpress with code 1005008346209439 at a price of 31.31 euros, free delivery in 5 days. Mount it by initially screwing the screws by hand, and only later tightening them. Reconnect the electrical connector, if we had removed the intake duct, reassemble it, and the engine cover support. And that's it.
