Today, we will look at the main issues with the 1.5 DCI engine, located in the engine bay of the Renault Megane (this also applies to the Clio). One of the most common problems is a faulty EGR valve; in particular, the failure of this component due to high temperatures inevitably triggers the stop warning on the dashboard and the engine fault light.

The issue can often be resolved by cleaning the EGR valve using appropriate products, or in some cases, replacing the entire part, following the video tutorial to the end!
