Replacement of the External Rearview Mirror

Model: Saab 9 3 MK 2 - Years 2002-2014
Part: Side mirror

Replacing the external rearview mirror involves removing the door panel. Start by disconnecting the power by removing the negative terminal of the battery. Next, carefully remove the door panel, taking care of the various internal wiring that needs to be removed. Behind the plastic cover, you will find three screws securing the mirror that need to be removed. Disconnect the wire by acting on the connector and remove the mirror. Refit the new mirror by reversing the previous steps. Ensure the three supports are perfectly positioned in their respective slots. Check that the adjustment mechanism still functions correctly.
