Installing a car stereo is a straightforward task that you can do independently. Before starting, disconnect the battery cables. Then, remove all the trim pieces securing the old stereo. Loosen the fasteners that hold the stereo in its frame. For installation, connect the power supply by linking the car's electrical system to the stereo. Turn on the stereo and test the AM, FM, and CD player functions, as well as the fade and balance settings to ensure everything works correctly.
