The service light on the dashboard of your first-generation Saab 9-5 activates automatically whenever a service is due. If the light remains on even after completing the service, a manual reset is necessary. This operation is very simple and can be completed in just a few seconds.

All you need to do is enter the cabin, reach the driver's seat, then start the car while simultaneously holding down the "Clear" button until the reset confirmation message appears. Finally, release the "Clear" button, and you are done.
