How to Reset the Oil Light on a Seat Ibiza 6L

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Seat Ibiza 6L: sit in the driver's seat without inserting the key in the ignition. Below the speedometer, you will find a button/dial used to reset the trip meter. Press and hold this button for about 15-20 seconds. While still holding the button, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to position 1 to turn on the dashboard without starting the engine. After a few seconds, you will see the message "oil" or "service" on the display change to three dashes, or disappear, leaving only the trip meter visible. At this point, you can release the button. Turn off the dashboard and remove the key. The procedure is complete.
