How to Change the Cabin Air Filter on a Seat Ibiza

On the Seat Ibiza, the replacement of the cabin air filter is done from the passenger side, in the lower area of the dashboard. Park on a level surface, turn off the engine, and work with the ignition off; slide the passenger seat back to create more space in the footwell. Locate the cabin filter access door under the dashboard and gently release the locking clip, then remove the access cover. At this point, grasp the tab of the filter and pull it out slowly, keeping it as aligned as possible to avoid dust and debris entering the cabin of the Seat Ibiza. Before inserting the replacement, clean the compartment with a cloth or light vacuuming, removing any leaves and dirt. Insert the new filter respecting the airflow direction indicated by the arrow on the filter, pushing it in until it is fully seated without forcing. Reattach the cover and ensure the clip closes correctly. Finally, start the ventilation to check that air flows regularly in the Seat Ibiza and that there are no vibrations or unusual noises.
