How to Open the Bonnet of a Seat Leon

Model: Seat Leon MK 3, 5F - Years 2012-2019

Sometimes it is not immediately obvious how to open the bonnet, as you first need to locate the lever that allows you to unlock the catch from inside the cabin, and then find the tab that releases the catch to finally open the bonnet. Usually, the opening lever is located on the driver's side, on the front pillar of the door, inside the plastic trim covering the pillar itself. Pull the lever back to unlock the catch, and then, in the central position, there is a tab to press to release the catch. When closing, lower the bonnet and let it drop on its own in the final part; pressing it down with your hands risks denting it.
