Replacing the battery of the key remote only takes a few minutes; let's follow the procedure on the Skoda Fabia key. Now, install the new battery, the right type (in this case a CR 2032 3V); insert it in the correct direction and test the buttons of the remote, finally reassembling the plastic cover!
