How to put the Skoda Scala windshield wipers in service mode

Let's see how to put the Skoda Scala's windshield wipers in service mode: it is a fundamental operation to lift the brushes from the windshield when you need to change a blade or clean the glass in case of frost. The lever to use is the one located on the right side of the steering wheel. The car must be turned off. Press the lever downwards (as if to activate a single cleaning pass) and hold it down for a couple of seconds. As soon as we release the lever, the windshield wipers will move and stop in a vertical position on the windshield. Once the maintenance is completed, just turn on the instrument panel and activate the windshield wipers using the lever. They will move and come back down.
