How to replace the battery of the flip key for the Skoda Fabia.

To change the battery of the flip key on the Skoda Fabia, hold the remote in your hand and release the emergency mechanical key from the shell. With the key extracted, locate the separation point between the two halves of the remote and insert the blade of the key or a small flat screwdriver into the groove, making a slight rotation to open the body without breaking the clips. Carefully lift the back cover to access the battery compartment. Remove the dead battery by prying it from the edge and replace it with a new battery of the same type, ensuring to respect the polarity indicated in the compartment. After inserting it correctly, close the two parts of the remote by pressing along the entire perimeter until the clips snap into place. Reinsert the mechanical key into its housing and check the operation of the lock and unlock buttons: if the Skoda Fabia responds to the commands, the battery replacement is complete.
