Today, you will learn how to reset the oil light on a Skoda Octavia. Press and hold the button on the display while turning on the ignition. Wait for the update of the kilometres until the next oil change while keeping the button pressed. Once the update is complete, release the button and restart the instrument cluster. If the reset of the light is unsuccessful, you will need to visit an authorised workshop to perform a vehicle scan via the diagnostic port to check the sensors and control units.
