Is the battery of your Skoda Octavia key flat? Here’s how to change it. Take your ignition key and press the release button on the key fob. Once the key fob is open, use a screwdriver to pry between the two plastic halves until they separate. Remove the rear cover. Extract the flat battery with a screwdriver and take a new one of the same size and voltage. Reassemble the two parts of the key fob cover until you hear the locking click. Check the key fob’s functionality: press the buttons to lock and unlock the Skoda doors.
