Drain Engine Oil Through the Filter

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007

On some engine versions, there is an oil filter housing equipped with a special valve that allows for draining the engine oil. At the top of the oil filter housing, there is a cap that, when unscrewed, allows for the fitting of a specific drain tube. By screwing this tube in place of the cap, you can open the valve and let the used oil drain out (the other end of the tube should be placed in a container for collecting the used oil).
Once the oil has been fully drained, proceed with the normal replacement of the oil filter cartridge and then refill the engine with clean oil.
