Removing Fuel Pump from Skoda Fabia MK1

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007

Follow these steps to remove and replace the fuel pump on a first series Skoda Fabia. First, access the rear of the car and remove the rear seat to reach the fuel sender unit. Next, remove the plastic protective cap and disconnect the electrical connector of the fuel level sensor. At this point, also disconnect the fuel inlet pipe and unscrew the pump retaining ring using the appropriate tool or by tapping with a hammer and flat screwdriver. Finally, remove the pump and replace it with the new one!
