How to Disassemble the Door Lock on an Octavia

Let’s disassemble the door lock on a Skoda Octavia. First, remove the door trim panel. Use a flat tool to pry around the window switch panel mounted on the door trim. Next, unscrew the perimeter screws securing the panel, detach it from the door, and disconnect the power wires. Locate the lock inside the door, unscrew its screws, and remove it from inside the door. Replace the damaged part with a new one of the same type.
