How to Replace the Door Lock on a Škoda Octavia

To replace the door lock on a Škoda Octavia, open the door and remove the two screws located on the side, allowing the external lock next to the handle to be removed from its housing. Next, remove the screws securing the panel: these are located near the window switch, at the internal handle, and at the bottom of the panel. Once the panel is detached, you can disconnect the connectors and loosen the screws of the internal door actuator, allowing it to be removed as well.
