To replace the remote control battery of the Škoda Fabia, lift the key blade and free it from its housing. This will allow you to lever inside with a screwdriver, so you can detach the cover from the front of the device. Under this cover, you will find the battery, which can then be pulled out of its housing and replaced with a new spare part. After replacing the battery, close the remote control with the appropriate cover and reposition the key blade in its slot.
