Diesel Filter Replacement Instructions

Model: Skoda Superb B6, 3T - Years 2008-2015
Part: Diesel fuel filter

The diesel filter is located at the rear of the engine bay, near the coolant reservoir: to replace it, simply unscrew the fastening clip pin located on the side (the position is a bit awkward, but you can manage with a small ratchet); once the filter is free, disconnect the hoses attached to it by opening the fastening clips with pliers or the appropriate tool and remove the cotter pin from the T-connector; then remove the old filter and install the new one in reverse order, inserting the new O-ring gasket on the T-connector: it is helpful to fill the filter with clean diesel before installing it to facilitate the first start.
