Replacing the Key Battery in a Skoda Octavia

This quick and practical video guide shows how to replace the battery in a Skoda Octavia key. The first step is to release the metal part of the key by pressing the appropriate button. Next, apply slight pressure on the indentation of the side cover to remove it. At this point, you can extract the battery using a flat screwdriver to lever it out and insert the new battery. Finally, reposition the cover, ensuring the side teeth align with the notches on the key. Only then can you close the key.
