Replacement of Front Brake Pads

Model: Skoda Fabia 6Y, Mark1 - Years 1999-2007

To replace the front brake pads, lift the vehicle on suitable car stands and remove the front wheel; then disconnect the wear sensor connector, remove the protective caps from the caliper mounting pins, and unscrew these pins; before removing the caliper, lever between the caliper and the disc to slightly retract the piston, move the caliper away, and extract the old pads; use a mole grip to fully retract the piston, insert the new pads, refit the caliper, and reconnect the wear sensor connector. Pump the brake pedal until it offers the correct resistance.
