How to Replace the Key Battery on a Skoda Octavia

First, open the metal key by pressing the button that releases it via the spring. Now, insert a flathead screwdriver into the rear slot of the remote to lift it off completely, giving you access to the exhausted battery slot. Remove the old battery and install the new battery in the designated slot. Finally, close the rear cover by reversing the steps for reassembly and test your new key battery.
