To reset the service light on a Skoda Fabia model 1, do the following: -switch off the ignition; -press the button located near the display until the reset is complete; -turn on the ignition after three seconds. If the light comes on when the ignition is switched on, take the vehicle to a garage for a diagnostic check, as the causes of the failed reset may be related to issues with the control unit, a malfunctioning sensor, inadequate engine oil, and so on. Once the issue is resolved and the reset is performed, the light will not come back on until the next service.
