How to replace the cooling radiator of the Smart Fortwo

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007

Today we will see the main steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the cooling radiator of the Smart Fortwo. First, we open the front hood of the car and start to disassemble and remove the bumper, unscrewing the fixing screws located on the top and on both sides of the front wheel arches; then we unscrew the radiator brackets and disconnect the pipes, allowing the coolant to drain. At this point we remove and replace the radiator with the new one, also replacing the fan if necessary; finally, we reassemble the radiator and pour in the new antifreeze liquid!
