How to remove the outer door panel on a Smart Forfour? This video explains how to proceed: before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the front engine compartment. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws located on the inner door panel, and detach the rubber seal next to the glass on the door. Use a plastic lever to release all the clips of the door panel by prying around the entire perimeter of the door. Finally, pull away the outer panel using your hands. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
