How to Remove the Speaker from the Door Panel on a Smart Fortwo

Follow these steps to remove the speaker located in the right door panel of a Smart Fortwo. Before starting, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. Begin disassembly: use a lever to remove the plastic grille covering the speaker, detach it from the door panel, and disconnect any power connectors and release cables. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the securing screws around the speaker and disconnect the power connectors located behind it. Refit all removed parts along with the new speaker.
