Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007
Part: Battery

Is the battery of the Smart Fortwo to be replaced? Let's see how it changes. The battery is located under the dashboard (passenger side). We lift the mat, the carpet that covers the frame of the car. We will find the plastic cover. We remove the cover and locate the battery, unscrew the power supply terminals with the socket wrench and take out the damaged battery. We mount the new battery in the housing (same size), tighten the clamps to the battery with the appropriate wrench and close with the cover and carpet. We test if the car works or not.
