Changing the Battery in a Smart Fortwo

Want to remove the battery from a Smart Fortwo? Let's look at how to dismantle the damaged battery. The battery in the Smart is located in the passenger compartment, let's see where. Open the car door and lift the floor covering on the right side of the passenger. Once the dedicated compartment is open, you will find the battery at the bottom: unscrew the securing pins of the battery terminals, then remove it from the compartment and replace it with a new one (same voltage). After placing the new battery and connecting the terminals, simply cover the floor with its appropriate cover.
