Removing the starter motor of a Smart Fortwo

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015
Part: Starter motor

Does the starter motor not work? Let's see how to remove the Smart Fortwo starter motor. We disconnect the battery terminals for safety. We lift the car on a jack, unscrew the locking pins of the starter motor with a socket wrench and remove the same from the engine compartment. We assemble the new ignition motor with the connection of the power supply cables and with the attached tightening screws. At the end of the assembly we bring the car to the ground and connect the electrical terminals. We enter the cockpit of the Smart and test the functioning of the new motor.
