Removing the Speedometers on a Smart Fortwo

To remove the speedometers on a Smart Fortwo, first remove the panel located near them, which contains the hazard light button and door lock. To do this, simply pry at the surrounding gaps with a plastic wedge or a small flat screwdriver until fully extracted. Once done, disconnect the connector using the flat screwdriver. You will now have access to all the screws securing the speedometers and the upper section of the central dashboard. Unscrew them and lift the central dashboard trim just enough to remove the "dials".
