How do you replace the interior light bulbs on a Smart car? Let's see how to remove the interior light from the fixing plastics. Pry between the fixing plastics and the transparent light cover (without breaking the glass), and pull the light out of the panel. Replace the damaged bulbs with new ones (same size and voltage). Refit the light into its housing (push the transparent plastic with your hands until the tabs lock into the side plastic). Test the correct operation of the new bulbs installed in the light. Disconnect the electrical connector if you want to replace the entire light unit.
