This guide will show you the steps to remove and replace the cabin light bulb in the Smart Fortwo. First, get inside the vehicle and pry the side of the light unit to detach and remove it; then disconnect the electrical connector from the light unit and remove the small bulb.

At this point, install the new bulb and check the light's functionality by reconnecting the electrical supply; finally, refit the light unit to the roof of the vehicle to complete the process!
