When the immobiliser warning light appears on the dashboard of the Smart 450, it means that the ignition key inserted is not recognised: this often occurs due to a coding error. To resolve this error, use a scanner connected to the vehicle's OBD port: once the scanner is connected, follow the instructions shown in the tutorial to reset the error that activates the immobiliser.

This way, you can disconnect the scanner and verify that the key functions correctly.
