How to start the engine of the Smart Fortwo

Model: Smart Smart 450 - Years 1998-2007

The instructions in this guide will show us how to start the engine of the Smart Fortwo, in simple steps. First of all, we get on board the cabin and start by inserting the key into the ignition lock that we find on the central tunnel, next to the gear lever; the ignition of the vehicle changes depending on the type of transmission, whether it is manual or automatic. At this point, we turn the key to position two to turn on the dashboard and start the car's engine; to turn it off, simply turn the key again and put it in gear or parking mode in case of automatic transmission.
