How to replace the engine air filter of the Subaru Crosstrek

Let's see how to change the air filter in the engine of the Subaru Crosstek: you only need a new air filter, and it's a very quick operation. We open the hood, we will find the filter inside a black box on the side of the engine: a rectangular compartment with clips. We unlock the fixing clips by pressing and rotating them counterclockwise to open them. We remove the old filter, clean the container from all the dust and residues that have accumulated over time; we place the new clean filter, paying attention to the mounting direction (the arrows must always point downwards). We close the box making sure the clips are aligned, and the job is done.
