How to disassemble the gear knob of a Subaru Levorg

Let's see how to remove the gear knob of a Subaru Levorg: release the handbrake lever to have more space, grip the chrome ring at the base of the knob, pull it firmly downwards; right below the knob we will find a black plastic ring with a cable clamp, push it to remove it from its seat, in order to release the ring. At this point we can see that the knob is simply screwed on; we will unscrew it clockwise, since we are unscrewing it from the top, because the threading is reversed. To screw on the new knob (which we can find with a wide variety on all e-commerce platforms, according to our tastes) we will proceed in the opposite direction.
