Replacing the Fuel Filter on a Subaru Forester

Model: Subaru Forester SH, MK 3 - Years 2008-2011

Replace the fuel filter on a Subaru Forester if it has been in use for too many miles. Lift the front bonnet and locate the fuel filter as shown in the video. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws securing the circulation pipes (a socket spanner can also be used). Then, remove the metal hook located near the container where the fuel filter is situated. Remove the filter from the engine bay (replace it with a new one). Fit the new filter into the engine bay (connect the pipes and cables) and tighten the clamp screws. Attach the filter to the metal support.
